Nido Qubein and High Point University ring NASDAQ closing bell

High Point University students and President Nido Qubein rang the NASDAQ closing bell in New York City's Times Square Monday, March 8 at 4:00 p.m. EST. Several months ago Dr. Qubein and HPU students rang the New York Stock Exchange closing bell.

Video of the bell-ringing was aired on the NASDAQ MarketSite tower -- one of the largest stationary video screens in the world, standing at seven stories tall. An HPU video was broadcast live on the video tower for one hour. The NASDAQ closing bell ceremonies were broadcast globally.
